Oakland NAFTA Town Hall (PHOTOS)

Last Thursday, the California Trade Justice Coalition organized a town hall in downtown Oakland as part of a national wave of events targeting President Trump’s promise to renegotiate NAFTA and the trade deal’s twenty-year history of harming our wages, health, air, water, and climate. The town hall featured some of the East Bay’s most prominent environmental justice, migrant justice, and labor leaders, making critical connections between local, national, and international struggles for human rights and community health.
